About the movement
A patient effort to build knowledge capability in Uttarakhand.
InnovateInUttarakhand is a long-term campaign to help the state participate more deeply in research, engineering, technical excellence and entrepreneurship.
What it is not
The movement is not a promise that technology can solve every problem. It is not an attempt to replace agriculture, tourism, public service, healthcare, education or manufacturing.
What it believes
Research, engineering, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, robotics, drones, deep technology and entrepreneurship can become another important pillar of Uttarakhand's future.
Where it began
The campaign was started by the team at IndusForward. That origin matters, but it is not the center of the story. The movement should become larger than any one organisation if it is to be useful.
Why Uttarakhand
The mountains have already taught the necessary temperament.
Uttarakhand already understands patience, service and persistence. From the terraced fields of the hills to the families shaped by service in the Armed Forces, the region has long valued disciplined work for something larger than the individual. Those qualities matter in deep technical work.
The task is to channel that inheritance, across Kumaon and Garhwal, into research, engineering, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship and technologies that strengthen Bharat.
